KX-Track

Enhancing freight forwarding efficiency.

A real-time, web-based cargo documentation and tracking system. Manage orders, packages, containers, shipments, projects, users, tasks and notifications — from pickup to delivery site.

/ 01 Overview

Full control of the freight you're responsible for.

Freight forwarding runs on documents, deadlines and people in different time zones. KX-Track puts the whole project in one place — orders, shipments, documents, tasks, agents, clients and user access — so nobody is chasing a status update through an inbox.

01

Real-time tracking

Cargo status as it changes, visible to your team and your client at the same moment.

02

PO line-item management

Control each item on a purchase order individually — built for partially supplied orders.

03

Integration capabilities

Two-way connections to the systems you already run, in the formats you already use.

04

Task management

Events, reminders and checklists tied to the PO or shipment they belong to.

/ 02 Modules

Six modules, included as standard.

Freight management with full control — over projects, orders, documents, tasks, agents, clients and who can see what.

Module 01

Project

Set up permissions, agents, integrations and access to modules — configured per project, not per company.

Module 02

Purchase order

Create, track and manage POs, associate shipments, and manage line items and their status individually.

Module 03

Document management

A centralised repository for client and internal shipping documents, plus creation of shipping documents.

Module 04

Organisation & users

Manage agents, carriers, clients, vendors and warehouses, with full control of access and permissions.

Module 05

Diary

Track events and reminders, schedule tasks and link them to POs and shipments. Checklists and notes keep service continuous through handovers.

Module 06

Report

Built-in customisable reporting, a freight and billing dashboard, and connections to your analytics tools.

/ 03 Purchase orders

Down to the individual item.

Partially supplied orders are where most tracking systems give up. KX-Track is built for them.

  • Item-level control. Manage each item of a purchase order individually where you need to — full control when an order arrives in parts.
  • Know where every item is. Exactly where and when each item of the order shipped, without reconstructing it from emails.
  • Shipments associated to orders. Link shipments to the PO they fulfil, so the order tells the whole story.
  • Status per line, not per order. One delayed item stops being invisible behind an order marked "in progress".

Onshore & offshore

One dataset across the whole journey.

KX-Track integrates data for offshore and onshore movements between freight forwarding agents, so information flows through the shipment process rather than being re-keyed at every handover.

/ 04 Integrations

Connected to what you already run.

KX-Track is designed to sit inside an existing operation, not replace every system around it.

I / 01

Billing

Invoicing data available through your existing WiseTech / CargoWise integration.

I / 02

PO systems

Integrate with a customer's PO system to import data automatically. Two-way integrations available.

I / 03

Standard formats

Compatible with industry standard formats — APIs, XLS, CSV and XML.

I / 04

Dashboards

Modern dashboard reports tailored separately for internal users and for clients.

Customisation options for specific business needs are available — talk to us about your stack.

/ 05 Reports & analytics

Extract, analyse, manage.

Tailored reporting solutions, maintained by our in-house data specialists — so dashboards stay current instead of ageing out after handover.

Data analytics & AI

R / 01

Reports

Built-in report templates with customised filters and fields, ready on day one.

R / 02

Dashboards

Data visualisation, KPIs and metrics — a visual read on projects, purchase orders and shipments, and how they're performing.

R / 03

Out of the box

A visual representation of key data, statistics and trends across cargo operations — a comprehensive overview of status and performance indicators, so users can monitor and analyse progress across projects, purchase orders and shipments. Our in-house data analyst keeps dashboards maintained and updated to industry standards.

/ 06 Platform & security

Behind the scenes.

A layered architecture on Microsoft Azure — built for high availability, scalability and the compliance obligations freight carries.

Frontend

Presentation layer. The web interface users see and interact with — internal teams, agents and clients.

Backend

Business layer. Application business logic plus a web services API layer that serves the front end and third-party integrations.

Data

Data layer. The database and connections to third-party services, isolated from anything client-facing.

  • Data security. Hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud, leveraging Azure infrastructure for high availability, scalability and performance, and to protect data from unauthorised access, breaches and cyber threats.
  • Data privacy. Sensitive information safeguarded and compliance with regulations upheld — because customer trust is part of the product.
  • Data integration. Merge data from diverse sources into one unified, comprehensive dataset.
  • Encryption & access control. Data encryption in place with granular access controls per user and per module.
  • Regulatory alignment. Built with industry regulations such as GDPR and CTPAT in mind.
  • Audit trails. System logs and audit trails so you can answer "who changed what, and when".

/ 07 Implementation & pricing

Scoped to your operation, onboarded in weeks.

KX-Track is priced around a standard client onboarding, with customisations, data transfers and integrations quoted on a time and materials basis. Contact our team for pricing and the options that suit your project.

Implementation
On application

Based on a standard client onboarding, scoped to your modules and users.

Ongoing
Per user, monthly

A simple monthly licence per user. Talk to us about team size.

Support
Included

Technical support on our standard product comes with it.

Step 01

Onboarding — 4 to 6 weeks

The implementation process to onboard a new client on our standard product takes up to six weeks, covering configuration, module setup and access.

Step 02

Training & user onboarding

Your team is trained on the modules they'll actually use, with permissions and organisation structure set up before go-live.

Step 03

Data migration & integrations

We support data migration and integration work. Time and cost for these are evaluated on application — they vary too much between operations to quote blind.

Step 04

Support & ongoing development

Ongoing technical support and maintenance, with add-on features and new modules considered as your operation changes.

What moves the number: how many users need access, which modules you turn on, how much history is migrated, and how many systems we integrate with. Tell us those four things and we can quote properly.
