Allergies are law, always.
A medical allergy and a household-wide exclusion are hard rules the plan can never break — checked after every plan is generated, and shown calmly rather than as an alarm. One person simply disliking olives stays a soft preference, because that shouldn't ban a dish the rest of the family eats.
- A week you actually agreed to. You see menu titles first and swap any you don't like — the recipes are only written after you approve.
- Planning that fits the week. Keep it flexible, hit your macros, or be surprised. Tick the nights you're actually eating in and the plan works around it.
- Household-aware serves. Away days shrink the plan and kids' portions count fractionally, so you don't over-cater.
- Recipe Flow. Every recipe becomes a step timeline — ingredients clustered per step, tick-off progress, and a serves stepper that rescales quantities live. No scrolling past a life story to find the method.
- Bring your own recipes. Import from a link or a photo and it's converted to the same format, with the original source kept and shown.
- A shopping list that survives the supermarket. Built from the plan, quantities added up across recipes, grouped by store and by fridge, fresh and pantry — with staples riding every list and an "already have it" tick.
- No repeats you'd notice. A hard eight-week no-repeat on dinners, plus scoring against the same protein or cuisine twice in one week.
- Tracking without data entry. Log meals straight off the week's menu by serve size. Anyone tracking macros gets their portion of the shared dinner — nobody eats a separate meal.
